(WOWT) — Here is a summary of new cases and other COVID-19 stats reported Saturday by health officials across Nebraska.
More cases in Douglas County
Douglas County has confirmed that its county total has reached 2,211 cases. According to Douglas County, yesterday, their case total was at 2,088. They are continuing to analyze the data.
As of Friday night, there were 490 medical surge beds available, 127 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19, and 132 ventilators were in use- 45 of which were being used by COVID-19 patients.
The county has also confirmed that 390 patients have recovered.
Testing in South Omaha
The Douglas County Health Department and the Nebraska National Guard will be hosting a drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinic at the South Omaha OneWorld Community Health Center.
Tests will be available to those who have symptoms or who are working in plants. There is no charge for the test.
The clinic will be held Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. or until there are no more tests.
