
INDIANA (WPTA21) – Indiana state health officials announced 370 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 21 additional deaths in the latest batch of data released Wednesday.
Each day at noon, the Indiana State Department of Health releases new COVID-19 data on its online dashboard.
Officials noted 370 new cases of the novel coronavirus and 21 new deaths Wednesday.
Those new cases were recorded between April 10 and May 26, while the new deaths were recorded between April 14 and May 26.
Indiana’s total caseload now stands at 32,437 since they began keeping count in early March.
The death toll increased to 1,871.
A total of 235,333 tests have been conducted.
Of those tests, nearly 14 percent returned a positive result.
In Allen County, state health officials noted 44 new positive cases of the virus. Allen County’s total now stands at 1,353 positive cases and 66 deaths.
Noble County reports 192 cases of COVID-19 and 21 deaths.
On March 6, the Indiana Health Department confirmed its first case of COVID-19. That Hoosier had recently traveled.
Then on March 16, state health officials confirmed the first death.
